This Thursday, the Narrows Botanical Gardens in Bay Ridge kicks off the first of three movies in its summer outdoor film series with Mildred Pierce, a 1945 film noir classic starring Joan Crawford. The movie starts at sundown. Popcorn, snacks, and refreshments will be sold. Bring a blanket! Or folding chair!
