I’m giving away two Brooklyn Cyclones tickets! Home opener on June 19, after the Mermaid Parade! The details are on this post. You enter by commenting on that same post. It’s really simple, folks. They’re field box seats on the third base side of the field. You’ll be chillaxin’ with me and some Meetup.com folks.

I realize doing this first thing after a week-long vacation out-of-town wasn’t the smartest thing – readership always nosedives when I stop writing for a week, who could have known? But after kicking the tires (i.e. spamming some of my closest friends, or at least people I’ve met before, or if I’ve never met them, at least I’ve e-mailed them recently about their blog or my blog or something), we got a few more people to comment.

It’s still wide open, though. The tickets are there for the taking. Do it… do it…

The Brooklyn Cyclones open up their season next week. Their home opener is next Saturday, June 19 against the Staten Island Yankees, and I’ve got two extra tickets that I’m giving away!

The giveaway is really simple:

  • Leave a comment below this article and tell us why you love going to Brooklyn Cyclones games. Or, if you’ve never been, tell us why you want to go.
  • Leave your comment by this Saturday, June 12 by 11:59pm New York time.
  • Only one entry per person. No fair leaving comments with both your personal e-mail and your work e-mail!
  • On Sunday, I’ll number all of your comments and use Random.org to pick one out of the blue. The winner will be announced on next Monday’s South Blogistan roundup.

I’ll go first – I love the great seats, the seaside breeze, and the race of the condiments down the third base line. Good thing the seats are on the third base side! Woo hoo! Whadabout you?
