Coney Island Craft Lagers by Shmaltz Brewing Company (self proclaimed world’s smallest brewery) which donates proceeds to help nonprofit Coney Island USA set up shop recently and has many beers available at the Freak Bar. Kelso of Brooklyn, makes a chocolate lager, is brewed just north of Park Slope and is available in many Brooklyn establishments. Sixpoint Craft Ales Brewery and small bar is in Red Hook and has malt with an orange flavor. Brooklyn Brewery is out of Williamsburg with its Brooklyn Lager which is widely available. This Brewery has happy hours, tours and samplings. So which is your favorite…. hopefully your not boring and just prefer ….to Grab a Heine!

Kebeer Bar & Grill; 1003 Brighton Beach Ave.
Kebeer has a happy hour Monday to Friday from 5pm to 7pm with $3 beers and great list of beers on tap, including German and Belgian. Also $3 Modelo Negro bottles available all times. This location was previously Eastern Feast and has seated dining, a good menu and a bar. Specials include $5 for a burger and soda or $7 for a burger and Sam Adams (good deal even if with a Boston Beer). There is a bar special 50% off third drink. Ask Yulis about the drinking challenge. The food offerings include kebabs, sandwiches, appetizers and salads.

Velvet Rope; 3212 Coney Island Avenue
Velvet Rope has a happy hour Monday to Friday from 5pm to 8pm with $3 16oz glass of Baltika Beer #7 and after happy hour its $4. There are other beers and drinks to choose from. Here there is seated dining tables, curbside tables, food and a bar.  Also available is a hookah. There is a belly dancer on Saturday night, occasional live music and a DJ plays music for the local crowd to dance…good fun atmosphere.
