The Brooklyn Cyclones lost Game 1 of the New York-Penn League semi-final to the Jammers last night in Jamestown, NY, by a score of 7-6. The Jammers, which needed to win their final four games to squeak into the playoffs, led 6-1 at one point, needed to add on a run in the bottom of the eighth inning after allowing the Cyclones to tie.
The Cyclones need to win tonight and Thursday night in Coney Island to avoid an embarrassing early exit for the NYPL’s first-place team.
