It's incredible - and when the lawsuits happen, and I'm pretty sure there are a couple a year - the city's insurance premium gets paid by the taxpayer. Really, pay out half a million to a handful of people who slip and fall? Or keep a couple of honest joes employed by hiring them to shovel the snow? Seems pretty obvious to me...
