If bus 31 is cut, how are people who have a hard time getting around do? Many people can't walk or afford car service. What happens to them?

How are people supposed to get around on the 31 Bus? Is there a new schedule for the B31? If school metro cards are cut, how are the students supposed to get around? Will metro cards for senior citzens be cut to?

I dont mean to sound nasty, Lisamme, but are you serious about the B4 having no ridership? I take that bus to and from Sheepshead Bay station erery day and it is always packed. It is also the worst bus in Brooklyn. Going in the morning, the 7:05 is usually on time. At 5:15 pm, which is about the time I get back into Sheepshead Bay, you can wait an hour for that bus. They are cutting and eliminating services whih will be devastating to alot of riders. The B4 is packed at night until after 8:00 pm. This I know because my dentist is in Bay Ridge, so I basically ride the entire route. If any line should be cut, it should be the B44 Limited. Every morning, 3 of them pull into the bus stop with maybe 3 or 4 people. Its rediculous.

Granted, the B4 doesn't have much of a ridership. And its route is so convoluted that it has increased costs considering it's total crow flying distance. Nevertheless it does provide service to those who want to get from Bay Ridge to Sheepshead Bay without having to deal with multiple train transfers late at night.

Eliminating the B31 means that the only way to leave or enter Gerritsen Beach at night is either to walk, or take a car. The walk from the southern point of Gerritsen Avenue to Avenue U is about a mile.

Removing the B2 on the weekends will put another nail in Kings Plaza's coffin.

Brilliance as usual from the MTA
